If you want to register an Indian born abroad or register a marriage then you will need all the original documents from the Japanese government as well as have an English language certified translation. Note that to register an Indian child born abroad the child is not allowed to have another passport.

The Embassy remains closed on Saturday and Sunday and on public holidays
